We are finished meeting for today with the company. We are close to a possible agreement, but it is not done and nothing has been signed as of yet. We will be meeting with the Company tomorrow morning if we get a signed agreement we will let the membership know as soon as possible.

We represented our wage proposal and told the company to go back and bring forward a better medical proposal. We were suppose to meet today again at 1:30 but the company said they will not be ready until Thursday.

Your Negotiating team meet back with the company to restart the 2019 negotiations. Things went very well and we made alot of progress. Today is a different story with only a few items left on the table those being medical and wages the company it trying to increase medical premiums with no wage increase. We are in for a fight and will continue as long as we have to for a fair contract. More to come;
As most of you may have already heard, the Union and the Company have come to an agreement to help retain and hire Maintenance Technicians at Uss/Posco, and this is something the Union and Company felt could not wait for the restart of negotiations. This agreement was made October 22, 2019, but the start of this process was during the 2015 contract negotiations. The Union and the Company recognized the increasing difficulty in retaining and hiring of MTM's and MTE's and therefore decided to come to an agreement to help stop the bleeding.
