Nancy started working at CP Rail in 1993. She first became involved with the union in 1998, doing representation for the workplace safety commission (CNESST). She was also a union steward for the employees in Unit 1290, before becoming Recording Secretary for that unit. She then took on the role of Unit President for Unit 1290 before accepting a position with the Executive Council of the local. She has held different positions within the Executive over the last 10 years.
