National Grid is jeopardizing the safety of our communities by locking out 1,100 of its most experienced employees who are critical to ensuring safe and quality gas work in Massachusetts.

"This is the Republican tax law in action. Shortly after passing the GOP's corporate giveaway plan, Harley-Davidson purchased nearly $700 million in stock buybacks to benefit wealthy shareholders.

On Saturday December 14th President Mark Eilers and his Family took part in a Wreath Laying Ceremony while visiting Family stationed at Ft Knox, Kentucky.
Our Local will be looking to participate in this yearly event at Woods National Cemetery next year.

Steward Training September 2019

On September 22, 2018 USW 2-209 held a retirement seminar at the Union Hall. Brian Goode with Union Financial spoke to the group about social security and 401k's to name a few topics covered as well as answered questions from the group. If anyone is interested in talking to Brian you can call him at 262-835-9111. Thank you to Brian Goode and all of our brothers and sisters that were in attendance.

Union Plus Mortgage Company (UPMC) is a new mortgage brokerage company founded and owned by the labor movement to support union members with mortgages when they buy a home or refinance their current loan.

You can receive two terrace level tickets for the games listed on the flyer with proof of service. I recommend registering ahead of time to save time on day of games.

On Aug 18 & 19, 2017 The Highground will be hosting the 17th Annual Ride to Remember Motorcycle Rally. Proceeds provide healing and education for Veterans, their families and all who visit Highground Veterans Memorial Park.
