Bargaining Update for the Week

The Company’s Health Care Proposal would raise rates:

  • Single 370%
  • Family 223%
  • Plus surcharges for smoking and spousal coverage

Company proposed to limit retiree life insurance:

  •  $10,000 for 5 years, then down to 0

Company proposed 7% match for 401k for new hires instead of a pension plan

Company refuses to negotiate for jurisdiction, bidding rights and layoff protection in co-located locations

The Union and Company agree in principal to:

  • New Home Garage
  • 2 Person Area
