Michael G. Mignogna

My name is Mike, and I have been at Howmet for 27 years. Though I am currently at the GFM, I have filled numerous roles within the company including inspection, sonic, and bar finish. While in bar finish, I served as shop steward for seventeen years. In 2018, I moved into the position of recording secretary before I became a grievance committeeman in 2018. On the grievance committee, I represented sonic, inspection, the lab, conditioning, and bar finish. My experience working in many of these areas was very helpful.

In 2021, I was elected to Vice President. I also hold positions on two of our local committees; the “contracting out” committee and the workers’ comp committee. I intend to use my time to start an organizing committee to help strengthen my union brothers and sisters.
