Opportunity for media training for USW members – workshop offered with USW and the CFL Players’ Association

The USW National Office is working with our strategic alliance partner, the Canadian Football League Players’ Association (CFLPA), to offer a media training workshop (two dates and times) for Steelworkers.
These sessions will be held online and are geared to USW members: Steelworkers Local Union Presidents and Executive members, bargaining committee members, those active with health and safety and those involved in USW Women’s Committees, Human Rights Committees and anyone else active with USW who is likely to be a USW spokesperson in the media.
Please help us promote these workshops to Steelworkers by forwarding this note to USW locals and members who might be interested.
Our Media Training Workshop for Steelworkers will be facilitated by USW Communications and feature media advice from Ryan King of the CFLPA. A nine-year CFL veteran, Grey Cup Champion and current long-snapper with the Edmonton Football Club, Ryan is also the 3rd VP of the CFLPA.
