Call to Order

Vice President Vitello called the meeting to order at 7:00pm. 11 members were present.

Reading of the Minutes

Our last meeting was September 3, 2025.

Plant staffing prevented officers from being able to attend. 

Discussed checking your pay stubs to make sure you are getting the stipend for being released to a job bid and to make sure you are being paid OT on all hours worked on your days off

Allworden motion, Bray second to accept minutes as read. Motion carried.

 

Communication and Bills

Call letter for Quarterly WOS meeting, needs to be seen by eboard

Treasurer’s Report

A detailed list of incomes and expenses were read, leaving a cash balance of $25,067.74 and savings of $150,215.51

Janicki motion to accept as read, Kelnhofer second. Motion carried.

 

Initiation of New Members

Applications for Membership: Chris Cheatle, Allan Myers, Dakota Lubeke, Christian Ringer, Alicia Rodriguez, Brandon Anthony, Tyler Olson. 

Withdrawn: Ashleigh Smith, Tiffany Firth, Joshua Johnson, Asa Brandt, Jacob Brandt, Philip Schmidt, Alan Slowinski.

Four non-members Peggy Drislinger, Justin Derezinski, Josiah Brandt, and John Krause.

Bray motion and Janicki second to waive initation fees. Motion carried.

Watch for food collection boxes for us to bring to our next quarterly meeting

 

  • Eboard:

-We discussed the dismissal of a few employees for being caught sleeping on duty. Case by case basis depending on intent.

-concern with the interim plant manager and what it means for us

-eboard recommendation is to buy tshirts for veterans for our veterans day gift, as well as a $25 gift card. Beckman motion, Allworden second. Motion carried.

-questions about hiring chip pokers. No plans to hire extra, may use utility pool to staff

Unfinished Business

-Is Asa Brandt’s grievance done?

Carlson motion to take Asa’s case to arbitration, Bray second.

What happens if we go to arbitration, would he come back? Motion carried.

-Bodette working on filing grievance for working days off and not getting paid OT

 

New Business

Rumor that Power department may be losing members over Asa Brandt’s case

Union shirts were not made in USA

Punch-in rules-need to address at local negotiations
