Reading of the Minutes

Our last meeting was March 4, 2026. Secretary Lieber was not present and does not have meeting minutes.

 

Communication and Bills

None. All received mail has arrived after eboard meeting.

 

Treasurer’s Report

A list of income and expenses were read, giving a cash balance of $23,102.66 and savings of $137,542.93. Janicki motion to accept report as read, Bodette second. Motion carried.

 

Initiation of New Members

Applications for membership: Cassidy Hogan

Motion to accept new application and waive initiation fee: 

Wendy Bodette and Pam Janicki motion and second to waive new member fee, motion carried.

New Members: Cody Tsyver, Samuel Atwood, Christopher Gunderson, Joseph Haasl, Camden Mueller, Josh Schmid, Alexis Parr.

Retired: Donald Carlson, Gary Fuller. 

Leaving us with 235 members in good standing. Probationary withdrawl: Michael Zeinert.

-Oso’s veterans day walk May 16

 

  • Women of Steel:

-Upcoming Quarterly meeting is May 13. Alexis Parr is interested in joining.

  • Eboard:
    • Working on a new call-in procedure
    • Have fixed new rail crossing arms, so we should not need to assist switching for rail crossing. Not having the right frequency to use the manual switch.
    • Boiler Precipitator has now been fixed
    •  

 

Unfinished Business

  • Staffing/training levels

 

New Business

-donation to PE for $100

-MOU-if you are disqualified in the bottom two jobs of any progression, you will be moved to the top of the HR Utility Pool through the end of the current contract.

-6 people will be starting in New Hire Orientation. Will be hiring in May and June. We will be feeding them during our day with the new hires.

-Wendy has stocked the beater room bathroom with shower supplies if its needed.

-request for a more private shower space for men
