If you are nearing retirement, you are invited to join the Steelworkers Organization of Active Retirees (SOAR)! SOAR is a great option for retired members to remain a part of the great community that they have helped create. By staying apart of the USW you can insure that your voice is heard regarding all of the unique concerns of retired Americans, their spouses and families.

     As a SOAR Member you will:

• Promote Union values and help strengthen our communities
• Aid in the USW work to protect your earned Social Security and Medicare
• Share your experience with future generations to mentor the next Union Leaders
• Help guide and strengthen our union.

     Spouses or partners are eligible for membership at basic annual dues rate of $3.

     You will Receive a SOAR Membership card, lapel pin, and the SOAR Publication Quarterly.
