President Czappa called the meeting to order at 7pm at the Local Union Hall. 9 members were present.

Reading of the Minutes
Our last meeting was November 6, 2024. President Cindy Czappa called the meeting to order at 7pm at the local union hall. 11 members were present. We received a call letter for the Sub-6 council meeting, and we voted to send up to 3. We voted to send up to 3 to the quarterly Women of Steel meeting. We voted to spend up to $25 per stocking for the Our House Christmas adoption. We voted to include $25 gift cards with each Veterans Day backpack. We had new members join, giving us 242 in good standing, with non-members Daniel Deranick, Justin Derezinski, Mark Brandt, and Josiah Brandt.

Treasurer’s Report
A detailed list of income and expenses were read, with an ending balance of $41,452.62 and savings of $177,929.28.
Gustin motion to accept as read, Janicki second. Motion carried.
Initiation of New Members
Two members withdrawn, Matthew Hayek and Denise Brandt. Probationary Withdrawl from Tyler Hintz-Kehrberg. Membership is 240 in good standing, with 4 non-members Daniel Deranick, Justin Derezinski, Mark Brandt, and Josiah Brandt.
Reports of Special Committees (celebrations, picnics, etc):
-Buy your Holiday Party Tickets! $10/person
-will be doing the same door prizes as last time

- Veterans of Steel:
- Backpacks were handed out. Most people really enjoyed them. We do have some extra backpacks and 2 extra gift cards, can give them away at the holiday party or at a meeting.
- Women of Steel:
- Shirt orders are in, and will be placed shortly with the same company we used for the Veterans Day backpacks
- Lunch for Lunches idea to fundraise for Nekoosa School lunch accounts
- Eboard:
- Can our hiring advertisement reflect the schedule we actually work instead of advertising every other weekend off?
- Can our trade system be more flexible
- Holiday Party fliers are up and tickets are available for purchase. Recommendation to pay lost time for eboard and stewards to attend Holiday Party. Motion?
- Chipper Operator got red-taped into the chipper booth while lead paint was being removed in their area.
- Central Safety Committee during week of Feb 17.
- Revisit text message program
Unfinished Business
- 5-minute KRONOS punch-in rule, eta? Will be discussed during December crew meetings. Will begin January 5.
- Timeframe to require retraining to perform a job?
- Woodroom crane duct taped window fixed? Not yet. Needs to have cab replaced. Will be replaced during Hogger instillation.
New Business
-January’s meeting would fall on Jan 1. Janicki motion to drop January meeting. Lieber second. Will there be anything important for then? Motion carried.

-Alexis Allworden and Jared Voss have expressed interest in becoming stewards.
-North Street building? It would need too much work to fit our needs.
