Alaska AFL-CIO Hosts Labor2016 Walk

The Alaska AFL-CIO, led by President Vince Beltrami (IBEW), hosted a Labor2016 walk in Anchorage with more than 30 volunteers and activists to spread the word about union issues and pro-worker candidates.

North Carolina State AFL-CIO Rallies for Union-Backed Candidates

The North Carolina State AFL-CIO, led by Secretary-Treasurer MaryBe McMillan (IUOE), and AFL-CIO Secretary-Treasurer Liz Shuler (IBEW) joined the United Steelworkers rally in Fayetteville to urge active and retired voters to help get out the vote in North Carolina for union-endorsed candidates Hillary Clinton for president, Roy Cooper for governor, and Deborah Ross for U.S. Senate.

Oregon AFL-CIO Ramps up Labor2016 Efforts

The Oregon AFL-CIO, led by President Tom Chamberlain (IAFF), has its field program in full swing with less than a week until Election Day. So far, they have called more than 166,352 voters; knocked on more than 61,000 doors; hosted a total of 795 volunteer shifts filled by union members and staff; and distributed more than 1,600 worksite fliers at Building Trades and IATSE worksites.

St. Paul Regional Labor Federation Canvasses Across State Lines

The St. Paul Regional Labor Federation, led by President Bobby Kasper (LIUNA), hosted a door knock canvass event at the Laborers District Council of Minnesota and North Dakota.
