2020 USW Virtual Education Conference

Education is one of the cornerstones of the United Steelworkers. An educated membership is a strong membership. USW does a great job putting together conferences and other trainings to educate our members. With the craziness that is 2020, unfortunately many scheduled events were canceled this year. In the absence of in-person events this year, USW has put together a Virtual Education Conference. We recently received a call letter about this. From the call letter:

While we would rather see you in person, we think this two-day virtual education conference will help to close the gap created by the pandemic that has forced the cancelation or postponement of so many in-person events.”

Local 310 is excited about this opportunity to educate more of our members. While it is impossible to replace the experience of an in-person conference or training, networking with Union Sisters, Brothers, and Siblings from across the country, having a virtual conference allows us the chance to involve our entire membership. This conference is being offered at no cost to the Locals, so there is no limit to how many of our members can participate. Best of all, you can log in from the comfort of your own home.

Full details are at the link below, including how to register. We encourage all of our members to take advantage of this incredible opportunity!
