As I mentioned in previous emails, for every FULL week you have worked after 18 months of service, will qualify you for 1 credit of SUB to a maximum of 52 credits.

How this will work is, once you receive a payment from EI or CERB, take a screen shot or if you can email that info as well as the exact weeks you were paid for.

The body should have proof of the payment and weeks that you were paid. If you are not able to email, a print out is fine and brought to HR.
CERB is paid for 4 weeks at a time so at the end of that 4 weeks, you will receive a direct deposit for $600.00, 4 weeks of SUB, with the email proof, of course. If you are recalled prior to the 4 weeks, you will receive SUB for just the weeks you were laid of up until recall.
The amount of SUB is $150.00 per week until the SUB fund reaches a reduced amount of 35%. At that point SUB will be paid at $100.00 per week.
Hopefully this won’t last to long!! It is very unpredictable as we were facing a few more layoffs this week and now the company is recalling up to 8 people!!
Please feel free to call any of the union reps for information.
