Le 24 mai 2019 - An Update to Stericycle Negotiations. 

The Stericycle Bargaining Committee would like to announce that we reached a tentative agreement with Stericycle on May 23 after continuing talks on May 22 and 23, 2019. 

As we stated in Bargaining Update #3, the Company tabled concessionary items and wanted major changes to eliminate your sick bank time, reduce seniority provisions and limit the Union’s ongoing ability to enforce the Collective Agreement. 

After much discussion, those Company proposals were removed and your sick time and seniority provisions continue under the previous language. 

We were able to achieve a significant increase to your Extended Care Package premiums, Dental Plan premiums, plus wage increases in each year of a 3-year agreement. 

Unit 63 Stericycle Bargaining Committee endorses this agreement and encourages members to support its ratification. 

Further details will be sent to you about the ratification meeting process once they are finalized.
