    Call to Order:  President Shawn Willis called the meeting to order at 4:04 pm.

    Roll Call:  Roll call of officers was taken.  All answered except Tyron Rias, Tamika Malone, Greg Michko, Robert Cleveringa, and Patrick Murphy.

    Minutes of the Previous Meeting:  Bob Walters made the motion to waive the reading of the April 2019 general membership meeting minutes and accept them as written.

    Communications:  President Shawn Willis read a letter from Director Mike Milsap, and Leader of Soar addressing the Labor Fightback Festival.  Bob Walters made the motion on the executive boards recommendation to sponsor a scholarship for $250.00.

    Local 1014 is having a Golf Outing, and has invited our local to participate.  The outing is August 10, 2019.  Cost:  $20.00/person or $80.00/4 per team.

    Officer Reports:

    The Financial Secretary report for the month of May 2019 was presented by Financial Secretary  Don Taylor.  After completion of the reading  Bob Walters moved the Financial Secretary's Report for May 2019 be accepted as read.

    The lost time and expenses report for the month of May 2019 was presented by Financial Secretary Don Taylor.  At the conclusion of the report Bob Walters moved that the lost time and expenses for May 2019 be paid.

    The Treasurer's Report for the Month of May 2019 were presented by Treasurer Greg Ford.  After completion of the reading  Bob Walters moved the Treasurer's report for May 2019 be accepted as read.

    Committee Reports:

    Training:  Pete announced 1 of our members of Local 5133 got selected to be a Instructor at the Training Center (Jeff Richmond).  5 of our members are in mechanical training class.  We will have 5 new hirees, 2 production, 2 maintenance, and 1 electrical.  Pete will be looking for 1 more mechanical instructor to teach at the training center.  If anyone interested, give Pete your resume.

    WOS:  No Report

    Civil Rights:  No Report

    Rapid Response:  Coordinator Liz announced she will be going around asking members if they would participate in signing a petition card to help the Safty and Health Administration.  The petition is to protect healthcare workers from violence in the work place.

    Grievers:  Reggie announced that the grievance filed for members calling off during the winter storm, got thrown out.
