Committee Reports: The Grievance Report was presented by Reggie Chandler. Reggie reported that 2 members are out. Rob C. announced to members at meeting to please get to work on time. Management is writing people up for being late.
Safety Report was presented by Don Taylor. Don reported, that the members of ECT did well in the LPA Audit. We were hit on Tractor and Crane reports. We also got hit on crane status lights. Don also announced that contractors are coming in setting traps for pigeons. Don congratulated members for being safe, and looking out for one another.
Training was presented by Chairman Pete Smith. Pete announced that the learner's program will start May 13. 2 men that was in training is now trying to be released from learner's program to start their jobs in mill. Pete also announced that they are in the interviewing process for the 2 MTM/MTE Instructor for training center, and they are also in need of Safety Instructor for Training Center.
