I started at Strattec in July of 2010 as a Tumbler in the Die Cast department. In early 2011 I transfered to the Stamping and Milling department as a Set Up Operator. I currently work in the Milling area on 2nd shift. In 2015 I ran for Strattec Grievance Representative unopposed replacing our previous Grievance Representative Diane Neely. I was re-elected to the position again in 2018. I am also involved in several Strattec and Local Committees. In 2019, following the resignation of Mike Henry, our Vice President, I was appointed to the position by vote of the Executive Board for the remainder of the term. Prior to comming to Strattec I was the Grievance Representative for UAW Local 1866 representing the Bargaining Unit workers at Delphi Automotive in Oak Creek, WI.I was elected President of our Local USW 2-232, replacing former President Jesse Edwards and sworn in May 2021.
