At the December union meeting there was some discussion about this letter that we received alerting us to changes made to the calculation of our SPT (Steelworkers Pension Trust) benefits. This information shows how our Benefit Accrual Rate was changed in order to *maintain* our monthly payout after retirement. This is due to the new increased Contribution Rate from the 2018 contract.
