On November 2nd, 2018 the USW reached a Tentative Agreement with ArcelorMittal.
I would like to thank the Executive Board members, Communications Action Team, and each and every one of you for all of your support, patience, and such a strong showing of solidarity and unity during the bargaining process.
Now that we have a tentative agreement, it is our job to explain that agreement to the membership.
Going forward, you should expect to receive a packet in the mail containing a summary of the tentative agreement and a ballot. Those packets should be going in the mail, directly from the printer, on or about the 16th of November.
I plan on having special membership meetings to discuss this tentative agreement on Tuesday, November 20th at 4:00 pm and 7:30 pm, also on Wednesday, November 21st at 7:30 am. These meetings will be held in the Banquet Hall.
