I first became a United Steelworker member in March 1975 and learned at a young age that it is better to be involved that expect others to negotiate, write grievances or enforce the collective agreement alone.

To get ready for contract negotiations at Midwest Medical, the union will be holding a town hall for Midwest Medical workers to attend, and turn in their contract surveys at (contract surveys will be arriving in the mail soon). The town hall will be held at 5:30pm in the Duluth Labor Temple in room 202.
USW Local 9460 will be holding its monthly membership meeting at 5:30pm in Hall A in the basement of the Duluth Labor Temple. All members are welcome to attend. You can park on any side of the Labor Temple, but the easiest way to get to Hall A is through the door that faces Lake Superior.
