What to Expect at the March

We will meet at 12:00 at Memorial Park.  We will hear from our very own Vice President, Chair of Healthcare Bargaining and Secretary-Treasurer of the AFL-CIO Fred Redmond, and representatives from Alliance unions. We will then march 2 blocks to City Hall where the Mayor of Pasadena will speak.

Come visit us at our booth in Memorial park where we will have the following:

• Snack bags for children
• Water
• Signs 

While bargaining continues this week, behind the scenes USW 7600 members are actively preparing for a strike if necessary!

Our Bargaining Committee continues to meet to try and make progress at the table, but KP has not moved away from its harmful proposals.  Our leadership continues to prepare for a strike as a last resort

Picket Captains Committee is working on identifying where our picket lines will be at every location and plan on working with legal and law enforcement in the coming days to continue this work.

Community Outreach Committee has begun work on identifying local businesses that will show their support and planning family activities for when we are on strike.

The assistance Committee is working on identifying centers throughout our service areas so members can schedule appointments to arrange financial support.

 It is time to show up! Come to our March, Saturday, October 30 in Pasadena to show KP we are invested in our future!

We want to hear from you! We are looking for feedback around work stressors. For example, stat. expectations, pee breaks. COVID, mental health.
