Le 13 octobre 2021 - Nous avons été en contact permanent avec Telus au sujet de leurs exigences actuelles en matière de dépistage rapide des antigènes de la COVID-19.
Telus s’est montré d’accord avec le syndicat sur le fait que sa politique avait besoin d’être améliorée.
Nous avons le plaisir d’apprendre que nous avons été pris au sérieux et qu’il y aura des changements quant aux modalités des tests. Auparavant, il était demandé aux membres d’effectuer les tests à des jours déterminés de la semaine, quel que soit leur horaire. Ces tests seront désormais effectués uniquement les jours travaillés et seulement 30 minutes avant le début du quart de travail prévu. Il n’y aura pas d’obligation de test pendant les jours de congé.
Il a également été précisé que tous les membres qui commencent un kit de test doivent compléter le cycle de test complet de dix (10) semaines, indépendamment de tout changement de leur statut vaccinal. Cette exigence émane du gouvernement du Canada et de ses règlements concernant les tests de dépistage.
Pour les membres dont le statut vaccinal a changé, l’outil d’attestation reste à votre disposition pour y enregistrer les mises à jour.

October 13, 2021 - We have been in constant contact with Telus regarding their current requirement for COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Screening.
Telus has agreed with the Union that their policy needed improvement.
We are happy to hear that we were taken seriously and that there will be changes to the testing requirements. Members were previously asked to test on specific days of the week regardless of their schedule. That testing will now be conducted only on working days, and only 30 minutes prior to start of scheduled shift start. There will be no requirement to test on days off.
It was further clarified that all members who start a testing kit must complete the entire ten (10) week testing cycle regardless of any changes to vaccination status. This is a requirement from the Government of Canada and their regulations around test reporting.
For those members who have a change in vaccination status, the attestation tool continues to be open for capturing updates.
