*About this course*: This 3-day course was created for Local 1944’s unique needs, in collaboration with the USW Canadian National Office. It focuses on the steward’s role as educator and advocate, and the grievance procedure. Participants will be provided with a manual and an information binder, designed to be utilized as a reference manual to assist them with a variety of workplace issues.

Local 1944 has reviewed yesterday’s Telus Vaccination Policy announcement, and we are in support of it.
It is very important that members read the Policy and related explanatory documents carefully to fully understand what the Policy is and what it isn’t, as there already appears to be some misunderstanding of what is being required.
