 I would like to thank Geoff Oberfrank for his time as Health and Safety Co-chair. Geoff is not only the locals Recording Secretary and our WSIB chairperson but took on the interim roll of H/S Co chair. A true Union man!!  Shayne Yeaman is now the Union Health and Safety Co-Chair.  With the federal election approaching, I’m asking members or retirees if they can volunteer some time to help with the Nick Milanovic campaign. 

 Nick Milanovic is a labour lawyer, an arbitrator, law professor and a UNION member running in the Federal election for the NDP candidate for Hamilton East/Stoney Creek. Nick needs our support and most importantly, our vote on September 20, 2021. If you can volunteer some time, please contact his office at 905-393-9613

 The local is celebrating 65 years. We have purchased jackets for each member. The order will be in by next week and hopefully receive them by end of September.

 Once again the Children’s Backpack program was a hit! 1350 backpacks for needy children.
