In addition, the Bargaining Committee is reviewing all provisions of the Collective Agreement as we continue to build proposals and ultimately a comprehensive package that brings your voice to the table.

4:01pmBelow you will find information provided by District 6 Health & Safety Coordinator Sylvia Boyce, including links to the David Ellis scholarship information pages on the USW National Office website.
There will be five scholarships of $500 each to be awarded in each Canadian USW District. These funds are to help selected high school students continue their education at university, college or another educational institution
Please note: Submissions for the 2021 David Ellis scholarship will only be accepted by email and must be received no later than June 30, 2021. Essays (in MS Word or PDF format) or links to YouTube videos may be sent to [email protected].
The winners will be notified by August 15, 2020.

Good evening all.
A reminder, the Locals Union elections will be held at the plant front entrance on April 6 and 7 at all shift changes. All members vote for all positions.
Social distancing measures will be in place as well as sanitizer and individual pens.
In business news the company has taken an increase in orders for this month and next. Not sure how long after it will last? It is great news but we still lack the training that was promised!
The company was in the process of hiring but unfortunately it was not approved by corporate and they have now ceased any hiring.
As you may have noticed, 63 frame is being removed to have the “new” supervisors office placed there. 63 frame will be stored for the future.
