LOCAL UNION ELECTIONS AND MEMBERSHIP MEETING UPDATE

    Union Brothers and Sisters,

The following members have been nominated for and accepted office running unopposed. These members will begin their 3 year term in May of this year. The Briggs & Stratton Bargaining Committee positions will go to an election with members in good standing from the Briggs & Stratton Unit being able to vote as described below.

The Exectuive Board is currently looking for a venue that will allow us to hold an in person Membership Meeting so our new officers can be sworn in and for the Local to continue to hold Membership Meetings until our regular location is available based on our needs and safety. Masks will be required at all Union meetings until further notice. The tentative plan is to hold the May Membership Meeting on Sunday May 16. When a venue can be found and the information is available the Union will notify membership via text and website updates as well as in plant Union board postings. We look forward to holding in person meetings again with the safety of our members as our top priority.
