Video content is an increasingly important medium and Union Hall makes it easy to add videos to your site. The best way of doing so is to first upload a video to a 3rd party site such as Youtube or Facebook, and then embed that link like in the example below. We’ll show you how. 

Adding a Video to a Blog Post

First, create an article to host your video by toggling over the “+CREATE” oval on the homepage and clicking “Create Article:”

For a full explanation of how to create an article see our Making a Blog Post guide. To add a video to a blog post, first click on the Media Browser button (symbolized by the picture icon below):

When the media browser window pops up, click on the web tab:

In the “File URL or media resource” space, paste a link to the video you want to add. This is the best way to add a video to your site in Union Hall. If your video is not already online, you can upload it to Facebook, Youtube or Vimeo.

NOMINATIONS

The following members have been nominated for office and verified as eligible members in good standing by the Election Committee. Members with an astrisk by their name indicate they have accepted office. Members without an astrisk must accept their nomination in writing no later than Friday March 19th. Nominations can be either hand written or typed but must be signed by the member who was nominated and turned into Jon Garrison, Recording Secretary to be deemed eligible and accepting of their nomination, either in person, by mail, at the in plant Union office drop boxes, or the Local Union hall (633 S. Hawley Rd. Suite 116). Jon Garrison's mailing address is 193 E. Pine Hollow Ln , Oak Crek, WI 53154. Local Union positions that are in bold indicate a potential election if the members nominated accept their nomination. The position in italics means no one was nominated for office and will be appointed by the new Executive Board when they take office in May of 2021. All other positions are uncontested and new officers will be sworn in to begin their 3 year term in May of 2021.
