We are the United Steelworkers, North America’s largest industrial union. We’re 1.2 million members and retirees strong in the United States, Canada and the Caribbean. We proudly represent men and women who work in nearly every industry there is.
On Friday, we released the PSP numbers Kaiser sent to the Alliance. The Alliance is carefully reviewing these numbers for accuracy. KP’s position, currently, is that your PSP bonus WILL be affected if you did not meet the individual attendance goals (less than 4 unprotected call-offs for the year). We have heard our membership is disappointed that the PSP payout does not recognize what we have gone through during this pandemic and we agree with you! KP has failed on their promise of 100% PSP payout.
