Members and Retirees of Local 5328

Good evening all. 

 Retirements! Congratulations to the brothers leaving this week and early next week. 

 Radomir Bucalo , Andre Vasilisin,  Jimmy McDowall, Dave Pavlica , Neil Harris  & Vito Montecalvo 

 Health and happiness!!! 

 We will see many changes come into affect over the next few weeks with the “transformation project”.  I’m not sure the company knows how some of the changes will work? To be determined!! There is some good news!! The company was approved for a new Cleaning Line Crane!! About a $600,000 project that will take place some time in the spring.  

 SUB payments are available to those laid off that qualify. Please see HR for more information. 

 COVID-19- we are officially in the second wave, as predicted, and getting worse. Many have received a letter from ArcelorMittal corporate stating, if your sick, don’t come to work! Your health is your number one priority!!  Practice social distancing, wear your mask, wash your hands, don’t come to work if you are sick.  If you are sick, inform work immediately and remind them you are following corporate direction and public health.  Stay safe!!
