November 17, 2020 - Over the past couple weeks, USW Local 1944 members should have received a package in the mail containing voting instructions and a unique PIN for the upcoming Election of Local Union Delegated Meeting Delegates and USW Local 1944 – Telus Bargaining Committee members on November 20.
This vote will determine who Units will send to represent them at the national Local meeting at which we determine Local policy, and who members will send to represent them in bargaining with Telus. Members will also have the opportunity to complete the USW Local 1944 – Telus Bargaining Survey electronically after voting.A sample voting package can be viewed here.
All eligible voters should have received their voting packages by now. If you have not received your voting package and are eligible to vote, please call the Voter HelpLine for assistance. The staff at the Voter HelpLine will verify your identity and provide you with a new PIN.

Wednesday, November 18 from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm (PT)

Voting will take place on Friday, November 20 between 6:00 am and 6:00 pm (Pacific Time). Please follow the instructions in your voting package.

Le 17 novembre 2020 - Au cours des dernières semaines, les membres de la Section locale 1944 du Syndicat des Métallos ont reçu par la poste une trousse de vote avec un NIP unique pour la prochaine élection des délégués à l’Assemblée des Délégués de la Section Locale et des membres du comité de négociation de la Section locale 1944 du Syndicat des Métallos - Telus le 20 novembre.
Ce vote désignera les membres qui représenteront les Unités lors de l’Assemblée des Délégués de la Section Locale, au cours de laquelle nous déterminons les fonctionnements de la Section locale, et les membres qui seront choisis pour représenter leurs confrères et consœurs lors des négociations avec Telus. Après le vote, les membres auront également l’occasion de participer au sondage en ligne sur les négociations de la Section locale 1944 du Syndicat des Métallos - Telus. Tous les électeurs éligibles devraient déjà avoir reçu leur trousse de vote. Si vous ne l’avez pas encore reçue et que vous êtes admissible à voter, veuillez contacter le service d’assistance téléphonique pour électrices et électeurs afin d’obtenir de l’aide.
