The Women of Steel Committee will be holding their annual Fall Family Gate Collection to raise money to adopt families in need for the holidays. The funds will be used to provide Thanksgiving meals to families at Hawthorn Hill as well as for Christmas gifts for children from an organization yet to be determined.

The USW has reached a Tentative Agreement with the Timken Company (Bearing) for its members who work at the Gambrinus Roller Plant. The 2017 BLA has been extended to accommodate informational meetings and a ratification vote.
The TA is a 3-year agreement with a $1000 special payment paid 15 days after ratification to active GRP members. This is no wage increase in 2020 but 2% raises in 2021 and 2022. There are increases in insurance co-pays for some Doctor visits and changes to the 401k.
