Referral and Retention Bonus Program Extended to 2023!

One of our strategic imperatives is to attract and retain talent and empower our employees. We are always looking for talented employees and we need your help to identify qualified candidates for a variety of salaried and hourly positions. In 2022, there were 47 employees hired based on your referrals!  

The Referral and Retention Bonus Program has been extended to run through the end of 2023. If you know someone who would make a good fit for any of our open positions AND our company culture, please refer them our way.  This program is open to current salaried and hourly TimkenSteel employees in Canton, Corporate and Tryon Peak.

Here is how to participate:

  • Check out our open positions on our careers page  and/or refer to SteelNet/People on the Move for newly posted positions. 
  • Encourage your friend or family member to apply and be sure they include your name on the application. There is a spot to include the TimkenSteel employee who referred them. 

That's it and we'll take care of the rest!

For each candidate you refer you are eligible to receive the following bonus(es)

  • $500 after the person's first six months of employment
  • $500 after one year of employment

Note that the employee you referred must be in good standing (meaning not subject to any disciplinary actions), at six months and one year in order for you to be eligible to receive the bonus(es). To be awarded the referral and retention bonus(es), you must be an active employee.
