Retiree Medical Payment Issue Resolved

It had been brought to our attention that some retirees had received a statement for their medial premiums, even though they had already been deducted from their January 2022 pension.

Here's the response from Benefits/HR:

"The new COBRA vendor made an error and mistakenly sent bills to people that have their retiree medical deducted from their pension. It was an error, nothing is changing for anyone – if their retiree medical comes out of their pension, it will continue to come out of their pension."Bottom line, the issue has been identified, corrected and the affected retirees don't have to do anything.
