Local 1-112 Members, February 28, 2018

As you may already know 2018 is election year. The local elections will be held in accordance to the international and local By-Laws.
Instead of regular monthly meetings in March, April, and May the meetings will take place as explained below.
The March meeting will be held on the 2nd Tuesday of the month, 3-13-18 at 1:00 and 3:30. This meeting is the nomination meeting.
We will also be appointing an election committee at this meeting. We will need a minimum of three members to participate. The duty of the election committee will be to run the polls and the committee will be compensated their regular rate for hours worked at the polls.
The April meeting will also be held on the 2nd Tuesday of the month, 4-10-18. This meeting is the election meeting. The Union hall will be open from 5:30 am until 5:30 pm for elections. Ballots will be counted immediately after the polls are closed. The new committee will be sworn in at the May Union meeting which will be on the 2nd Tuesday of the month, 5-8-18 at 3:30.
All meetings will be held at the Union hall 1221 First Ave. Suite A & B Middletown Ohio 45042
Steward elections will also follow in May.
As a reminder to all members, all positions in the local are up for election. I encourage all members to participate in all phases of this process. Show up in March and nominate a candidate and be sure to cast a vote in April.
