January Raffle: Brandon Fleming was drawn for January. He was not present at any of this month's meetings so February's meeting drawing will be for $200.
How Our Attendance Raffle Will Work:
Each dues-paying member of our bargaining unit is automatically entered into the raffle. Numbers are assigned based on your place on the seniority list. These numbers correspond to small numbered balls placed in a clear cage hopper, which will be spun to ensure fairness. At the end of each monthly meeting day, one ball will be drawn to determine the potential winner.
Prize Details:
The prize pool starts at $100 for January 2025.
If no winner is present, the prize rolls over and increases by $100 each month, up to a maximum of $599.
Guaranteed winners will be drawn at the June and December meetings by drawing numbers until a number is drawn of a member who was present. July the pool will reset at $100.
Prizes will be awarded as gift cards that can be selected from an approved list of vendors. (a provision that was strongly advised by reps from International)
How to Win:
To claim the prize, you must be physically present and have signed in at one of the three monthly meetings. If the drawn number belongs to someone not present, the prize amount rolls over to the next month.
