We are United Steelworkers from District 12 Local Chapter 1853. We were established on February 24, 2015 in order to serve the employees of AMR Redlands and Rancho Divisions. Our primary goal for this union is collective bargaining. Collective bargaining is the process by which unions and employers negotiate a contract that outlines the terms and conditions of employment. Through collective bargaining we can negotiate and fight for higher wages, safe and healthy working conditions, and a work-life balance that allows us to enjoy the fruits of our labor with the people we love and care for. We welcome and encourage our members to get involved and participate in the work we do. Your voice is powerful and extremely important to us all. We want all of our members to use their voices in order to further our mission’s progress.
