Dawn Miller

Dawn hired into the Coke Plant, on Zug Island, as a production worker in 1995. From there she also worked in the Janitorial Department and eventually into the Electrical Department.

Dawn is an incredible asset to the Local. A tireless worker who is always there for our members as well as being the linchpin to keeping the Local in good order for our members.

Dawn was first elected as Recording Secretary in 2018 and continues in that role today. In addition to her Recording Secretary duties Dawn also serves as the Benefits Representative for GLW and Local 1299. She is greatly appreciated for her tireless work for all of our members, but especially appreciated by our retirees who know they can count on Dawn to help them whatever the ask.
