Rouge Day Parade

The 98th year of River Rouge Days and the Annual Rouge Day Parade will be taking place. The event consists of marching down Jefferson Ave., from Marion st (on the North End) to Great Lakes Ave. (street that lead to the Hot Mill and north side of the main plant) where we distribute candy and water (donated by USSteel) to parade watchers. It is a fun event which we encourage all members and their families to participate in. 

We will gather at the Local beginning at 9am and will then carpool to the start of the parade route. All (members, family and friends) are welcome to participate. If intterested in participating please let a member of the grievance committee, safety committee or excutive board know of your intent so that we can get shirt sizes>
