USS & POSCO are under pressure to have a signed supply agreement by their lenders. Until that is finalized both sides have agreed to wait on finalizing the contract talks. According to the USW the parent companies are talking about what the agreement will be, but are confident they will reach an agreement in the near future.
Today your Negotiating team continued meeting with the company. So good progress was made by the end of the day and have multiple things to review. The main Negotiating team will meet tomorrow to go over what we have and will meet with the company again on July 1st.

Today the committee continued talks with the company. Both sides gave counters to proposals from yesterday. We have made good progress with contract language changes and we will continue talks on next Tuesday.

Today we met with the company for the negotiations kickoff, where the company gives a presentation on the state of the business, trade and where the company stand to-date. Bob La venture our district director is here for the presentation.
