We are currently working to schedule new bargaining dates with the hospital.
Our Bargaining Committee had previously reached a Tentative Agreement (TA) with the hospital on August 30. When a Tentative Agreement is reached, the Bargaining Committee brings the proposed agreement back to the membership for a vote.
Our members are the ones who decide if we accept or reject a contract. That means your voice and your vote are critical!
On November 5 & 6 the membership voted to reject the TA. Now, our union is working to schedule new bargaining dates with the hospital so we can re-start negotiations.
In the meantime, the hospital has tried to divide us – by issuing raises and appreciation to only non-union members.
Our work is as essential as every employee of the hospital! We deserve fair wages and a fair contract for our efforts, especially during this trying time.
As our Bargaining Committee prepares to get back to the bargaining table, it’s more important than ever that we stick together.
