District 4 Director Names New Assistant

CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. (July 18) – United Steelworkers (USW) District 4 Director Del Vitale, who took office on July 15, today named staff representative David M. Wasiura as the new assistant to the director.

Before becoming director on July 15, Vitale served as assistant to his predecessor, John Shinn, who this week left that post to become the union’s new International Secretary-Treasurer.

Independence Day (the Fourth of July) is a federal holiday in the United States commemorating the Declaration of Independence of the United States on July 4, 1776.

Memorial Day
