Dallas County CSCD alert regarding personnel files

Dallas County CSCD members should be made aware of the need to prepare their own individual personnel files to be kept at home. CSCD Attorneys in Austin/Department HR have recently denied access to portions of the personnel file when it reaches Dallas County CSCD HR department after an employee is terminated. Members should contact their supervisors in the CSCD unit to request to view/copy your personnel file including all notes, evaluations, and audits scores to be kept in separate personnel files at home.  See the attached letter from the CSCD Attorneys for more details.
