The United Steelworkers represents more than 50,000 health care workers across North America, including more than 700 at Oroville hospital who are part of USW Local 9600.
Organized in 2003, we joined together so workers at Oroville could have a voice on the job. Altogether, USW Local 9600 represents workers in four bargaining units:
BUSINESS OFFICE UNIT
Location: Business Office at 2009 Challenger Way

- Techs and coordinators in imaging, including ultrasound and mammogram
- Techs in: Cardiovascular, Clinical lab, Dialysis, Echo, EEG, Endo, Histology, Pharmacy, OR/ Surgery, Special procedure

- Physical therapy and OT assistants
- Respiratory therapists

Location: Satellite Draw Stations
