Steve Jenkins serves as Recording Secretary of USW Local 983, representing workers at Clearwater Paper’s Augusta mill. With 33 years of experience at the mill and 16 years as a union member, he brings extensive firsthand knowledge of mill operations and the workplace issues affecting hourly employees.

As Recording Secretary, Steve’s primary focus is workplace safety. He is committed to ensuring that Local 983 members have a safe working environment, that safety concerns are taken seriously, and that members have a strong voice in protecting their health and well-being on the job.
