On Friday July 1,2022 Kim Kephart our Local 1000 Next Gen Chair & Next Gen Southern Tier Regional Coordinator hosted a Next Gen Regional Training at Local 1000 Corning, NY. Local 1186 and Local 12460 joined Local 1000 for the training. We had a positive experience building connections with each other, discussing ideas to help increase involvement to build our committees, brainstorming events to increase involvement with our community, and discussing the importance of education and making connections within our own membership to strengthen our local's unity and solidarity. Thank you to all the members that stepped up and attended the training. We got to meet some new members stepping up in the program from US Salt and reconnected with other members from other locals in our area. Got great feedback from activities and discussions along with new ideas to help build our committees. Let's keep the momentum going and see everyone in September!!
