USW Local 1000 Events

USW Local 1000 and the committees (Next Gen, WOS, Rapid Response, Pride, Veteran's, Union UWST, & Communications) of the Local host several events throughout the year that are available for our members, retirees, and their family members.  Some events are community events that are open to the public. We believe it is very important to give to our community and encourage their involvement within our Union. We partner with several other organizations to help support these events Corning Catering, United Way of the Southern Tier, PEF, The Southern Tier Labor Council, and Corning Inc.
