About Us

We are the United Steelworkers, Smoky Mountain Local 507. Chartered in 1966, we have proudly represented multiple generations of workers at the Canton Mill and Waynesville Plant. We are over 850 members strong. Our members are leaders in our commmunities and in the workplace. We work hard for the best interest of working families. We believe in better. We stand up and fight back for better.
