This sounds a little more formal than it is - everyone has expertise! Subject Area Experts are just people who want to think deeper about a specific topic in the contract and help generate proposal language. They work in small groups and whatever they come up with is given directly to the bargaining committee. If needed, the bargaining committee may ask for specific assistance or research on the topic at hand. If you are thoughtful, detailed, or just have a pet issue grinding your gears, this is the role for you! Volunteer at the bottom of this page!
