| We are now finalizing applicants and we are very excited for the Chesterfield, MO Pre Apprenticeship cohort to begin on Monday, July 7th, 2025. If we are to hold this class we need those interested to fill out an application by the end of the work day on Friday, June 27th! |
| If you know anyone that you may be thinking about hiring or who is looking for an opportunity this is a great program. Not only will they acquire many of the certs and training needed to access jobsites, they will become familiar with many aspects of the painting trades. And they will qualify to receive at least $15 an hour to participate in the class! |
| To summarize the Pre Apprenticeship we are offering, it is a short-term (4-week) introduction to the painting trade that prepares individuals to enter our trades and succeed in a registered apprenticeship program. |
| 1. This is a4-week program with classes Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from July 7th - July 30th, 2025. |
| 2.There is room for up to 24 students in this cohort. |
| 3. The program consists of technical instruction in painting in addition to skill - building in financial literacy and career development. |
| 4. Students can receive stipends of $15/hour for participation and additional need- based financial support for housing, childcare, transportation to reduce barriers to Completion may be possible. |
| 5. Applicant Requirements- must be 18 years of age before the completion of the program (July 30, 2025), have reliable transportation (can be public transportation), and be interested in and able to perform the work. The preferred qualifications are high school graduate (or equivalent) and any prior work experience. |
