Serving the members of the Okanagan-Boundry-Similkameen since 1945. From Armstrong to Princeton to Grand Forks, Local 1-423 represents workers in all types of industries from Saw-mills and Plywood plants to Modular Home manufacturers and Waste Collections.
Katie has been a fulltime Business Agent with the Local since 2014 and a member of the Executive Board since 2007. In 2015 she was elected 1st Vice President of the Local and was recently appointed Financial Secretary when Jim Shemilt retired.
